WBC boss' trashing of Manny Pacquiao laughable

Despite recently naming Manny Pacquiao as their fighter of the decade, the WBC are apparently now unhappy with the 8 weight champion. Supposedly because of his choice of opponent for his next fight, although in all likelihood just as much to do with the fact that he won't be contesting one of the organization's belts.
Speaking to Ronnie Nathanielsz for Boxingscene recently, WBC boss Jose Sulaiman said of their fighter of the decade:
“He (Pacquiao) is a hero and I like him very much. He is not paying any respect to the WBC and myself at all. He has never mentioned anything favorable to the WBC.”
What Sulaiman fails to mention is what Pacquiao is supposed to be doing to pay more respect to the WBC than he already is. In his last fight he fought for one of their belts, paying them a commission for the privilege and keeping the WBC in the spotlight. Beyond this Pacquiao has no obligation to 'mention anything favorable' as Sulaiman puts it.
The fact of the matter is that at this stage the WBC need Pacquiao much more than he needs them. After winning numerous titles and assuming the mantle of being the best pound for pound fighter in the world, Pacquiao never needs to fight for or defend a belt again if he doesn't want to. From here on out if he defends any titles at all it is to that organization's benefit, not to Pacquiao's personally.
And on Shane Mosley being Pacquiao's next opponent, Sulaiman had this to say:
“He is completely over the hill. He looked very, very bad and very slow in his last fight against a bum (Sergio Mora)”
Sure Mosley might be past his best and there is every chance that Pacquiao might blow him out of the water, but this is the same Shane Mosley who not so very long ago destroyed Antonio Margarito, a man the WBC literally one fight later gave a title shot to. Did Margarito not look over the hill and very slow against both Mosley and later Pacquiao?
Furthermore is this not the same WBC who were happy for Pacquiao and Margarito to fight for their junior middleweight belt only two months ago, despite the fact that one had never fought at the weight and the other had only fought at the weight once in the last 6 years, and even then against a relatively unknown opponent?
And would Sulaiman really be making the same comments if Mosley were challenging Pacquiao for his WBC junior middleweight belt, giving them a lucrative commission in the process?
Something tells me that would suddenly make Mosley a terrific challenger in the eyes of the WBC.
Willie Beirne, Pitt: "Sillyman is a joke, Pacquiao should throw his belt in the trash and forget all about them. For once even Floyd had something right when he said all belts do is collect dust"
Juan Pedroso, Texas: "He's just mad Pac isn't fighting Berto or defending his 154lb title"
